1989 BMW 750 User Comment / Complaint

At 17,000 miles the brake rotors were replaced because of a corrosion problem. driver experienced a vibration problem with the brakes. the rotors are being replaced again at 46,000 miles. also, the sliding door on the passenger's side does not unlock at all times.  view

Insulation covering wiring in the electric fuel tank burned off, exposing wires, causing a possible fire hazard.  view

There was no deployment of the driver's or passenger's air bags when van was involved in a rear end crash, going about 25-30 mph. everything from the engine block forward was crushed, including the dip stick. the van has been repaired.  view

Dual airbags did not deploy during frontal collision; hit another vehicle head-on, vehicle #2 ran red light.  view

Lap/shoulder seatbelt on passenger's side will not retract, when opening the door will not properly stay shut. possible wiring problem with lights, while driving, headlights and domelights dim, radio and speakers do not work properly, dealer replaced a ground wire to attempt to repair the dome light, also vehicle would not start, battery was replaced and vehicle still would not start, no problem was ever found for this problem. for seatbelts, dealer replaced belt track assembly and the door latch assembly.  view

Throttle pedal broke which caused it to stick, vehicle impact 12:00 position, hitting a wall, speed 30 .  view

The truck's brakes cause the wheels to lock up.the truck has rear abs and the front are disc brakes.  view
