1998 SUBARU OUTBACK User Comment / Complaint

I have a similar problem with my 99 legacy outback. My mechanic thought it might be the center differential, which is $700 for the part and the transmission has to be removed to install. When I brought the car in, he said it was actually the emergency brake -that it was "all jumbled up." He fixed it and the problem seemed to go away, but only for a few weeks. I just tried to fix it and had a similar result. Good luck and let me know if you find any answers. Dan
