My son had the same problem, there is a small plastic elbow which carries the engine coolant into the engine block. This plastic heater hose elbow cracks and the o-rings become swollen from the heat of the engine and has to be replaced it is located behind the tension pulley on the engine block. The part can be purchased from Discount Advanced Auto Part stores
