2004 HYUNDAI XG 350 User Comment / Complaint

When slowing down and braking the car accelerated on its own. the first time i hit the car in front of me . i had to turn the key off to get it to stop. i had bumper damage. have had the car in 5 times for this same problem. each time the dealer said they can find nothing wrong. the last time the factory rep checked it and said he could do nothing because it would not do it then. as of 4/20/06 this car has done this 8 times. it is like driving a time bomb.

I also had that experience in fact I come close to running over a lady in a cross walk. Fotunatly I discovered that when I stepped on the brake part of my foort would heit the gas pedal which would make the car lurched forward. I believe it's a manufacture defect cause the gas pedal is too close to the break pedal Nope this info will help.
