Chg Tranny Fluid to Dex IV per TSB, might as well change Diff Fluid to Synthetic also since you have done the rest.

We are having a problem with a shuddering or rumble coming from the front wheels of our buick rainier awd at low speeds when backing and making turns. we have taken the vehicle to the dealer on 2 occasions but the problem has not been corrected.  view

Shudder, Rumble noise I have found from my 04 rainier is locking diff. MUST CHANGE Auto Trak II transfer case fluid every 30,000K miles. Quick Fix, if it works, change transfer case fluid, only GM Auto Trak II fluid, drive min 5 miles, but recommend more and drive in reverse in figure eights both left and right or S turns for at least fifteen minutes. Change fluid again if it is going to work it will take about another 100 miles to correct. Otherwise you need a band change in the Transfer Case, but not a complete transfer case rebuild. Also change Transmission fluid  view
