Driving at 65 mph, felt vibration; decided to pull over. Four passengers were panic-stricken due to the vehicle being engulfed in flames. Tapered bearing fell out of transmission end at the secured tow lot, drive shaft was noticeably absent. GM states that their engineer believes there was an impact that caused the driveshaft to disappear; th opinion of independent adjusters differs completely with their assessment. The independent adjusters believe it is a power train warranty issue, GM maintains that there was "impact". Fortunately, no one was injured, however, the H3 is a write off.
