I reported mine to the national highway and traffic safety administration and complained to the dealership regional office here in Massachusetts and got everything done free (parts and labor free without warranty). The tire on the passenger side moved back also because of the issue... It would come to about $2000 in parts in labor out of pocket for me if I didn't... I paid $0.... :D

Noticed at last oil change, potential structural failure of front sub frame/engine cradle due to rust out caused by design that allows water to enter and be trapped in sub frame. cars in "snow belt" areas (ohio) are affected by road salt. sub frame has 2.5" rust hole and surrounding area shows fatigue and cracking. car appears to be one "chuck hole" away from failure.  view
