I have found myself with the same problem, with the same door. I can't afford to have it fixed. I had a friend weld it to the body, the best he could. Worked for awhile till the weld broke. Now the door is just about useless. I use only the passenger side to enter and exit. I keep the driver's door locked whenever I go anywhere. I may try and have it welded again. Otherwise, I really love the vehicle. Mine has 167,036 miles on it.

Drivers side door hinge separating from frame and door is sagging, ready to fall off. repair person informed me to fix it would require removing the dashboard and repairing or rewelding the post. it has not yet been fixed, as i cant afford what it would cost.  view
