2003 MAZDA MPV User Comment / Complaint

We have owned our 2003 Mazda MPV for about three years now. The transmission makes very hard shifts between 1st-2nd and sometimes 2nd-3rd. It is random and very hard when it happens. I am surprised the transmission still works. It seems to be worse in colder weather.
