i was in a front end 35mph collision too and the airbags didn't deploy. 2003 Tiburon GT. the airbags are actually designed to deploy during much greater impacts. because the cost of replacing the air bag unit(s) would have caused it to be "totalled" by the insurance company. or so i was told.
