I am so scared my check engine light just came on as well and the same code came up for the mass air flow sensor. My car now cuts off when least expected and I have also almost been in a few accidents with my daughter in the car. I am not sure if I should just get rid of the car.

Car kept cutting off and the rpm was at around 4000 without touching the gas. sometimes when i go to hit the gas it will just sputter and die then it will take about 10 minutes to get it started again. check engine light was on and they said i needed a mass air flow sensor so got that replaced and it still did it. then they said the crankshaft position sensor code came up so i replaced and it still does it. i have almost been in a few accidents because the car will die out at the wrong time.  view
