2007 HYUNDAI SONATA User Comment / Complaint

We received a recall letter from Hyundai this week. Upon taking the car to the dealer as instructed they advised that their finding was that the sensor was working properly and there was nothing they could dO. They even went so far as to write on the work order that the customer had no further concerns which we marked through before signing. Would be interested in your experience. Jake Trainer

Airbag light stays on dimly when passenger(over 120lbs) is seated. this happens at will not all the time. we can make it turn off by stopping the vehicle and getting out of the car and reentering. we are concerned that the airbag will be inoperative if the indicator is lit. we called the dealer and have are not reassured that this isn't a real problem. scheduled again for a dealer check.  view
