2004 MITSUBISHI ENDEAVOR User Comment / Complaint

Vehicle is making rattling noise from undercarriage during acceleration; high pitched whinning noise during driving after vehcile warmed up. was told by dealership that the intermediate exhaust pipe baffles broken internally, and entire intermediate exhaust needed to be replaced at a cost of $1,400 for part and $150 for labor. vehicle is only 3 years old with 45,000+ miles.

I believe I may have a similar problem. When I accelerate I hear rattling. The check engine light has been on for some time before the rattling became apparent. It's as loud as ever now. 30k miles on mine, 2003 Endeavor. Any luck Manassas, VA?
