2006 PONTIAC SOLSTICE User Comment / Complaint

My 2006 Solstice has had a faulty air conditioner since picking it up. After 5 attempts to fix I called them on it to return it under NM Lemon Laws. GM offered to replace it with a new model at no cost to me. When pressed to make good we were sent to Sunshine Pontiac in Albuquerque. We found an acceptable car the dealer rep (re: salesman) Tim then said they would have to negotiate the deal like any other car deal! I told him that the GM representative told me this was a straight swap to me at no cost to me and no cost to the dealership. GM was handling it. Tim went inside and returned to tell me I did not have a case number with Pontiac. I handed him a copy the case number. He went back inside and we slowly followed him. He returned and said they had nothing from GM on this issue and they didn’t want to get stuck with a broken car! I told him we had a different plan to resolve this issue. The NM attorney general is helping. GM continues to schuck and GIve. Customers don't count!
