Front end noise was diagnosed by vw service as missing and loose rack and pinion steering bolts, rendering the vehicle unsafe to drive with 20,000 miles on the odometer and normal use. this is a huge safety hazard, i could have been injured or killed. i have an extended warranty but this is not covered. such a flaw in steering integrity should generate a recall - before someone is killed.
