Tl contact owns a 1996 ford crown victoria. the contact received a recall notice for nhtsa campaign id number 07v336000 (vehicle speed control). the deactivation switch was disconnected by the dealer. ford stated that the part would be unavailable until january of 2008. there had been no failure to date. the current mileage was 160,000.
