2003 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE User Comment / Complaint

I bought the 2003 jeep in march of 2007 with 19,000 miles. it was ceritified that everything worked correctly. i am the sole driver and rarely have a poassenger additonally, my wife and i used to commutte with our other vehicle(honda) untill her schedule changed. therefore, we never tested the pasenger side heat. now, it dopes not work and even though the car has only 22,000 miles, jeep says they will not fix. i don't bel;eive it worked from the start and i have read numerous complaints on the internet of similar problems. i sdpoke to the dealer and chrysler and bothwere rude and unehlpful. they say we should have bought an extended warranty. does everything require and extended warranty? can't we expect somne level of quality with having to buy more warranty? i beleive thew heat system should last more than 22,000 miles.
