Tl contact owns a 2000 cadillac deville. the contact stated that the vehicle failed to start and was towed to the dealer. they removed the battery and stated that the floorboard had to be repaired because the red cap on the battery exploded. acid spilled everywhere and corroded all of the cables. the vehicle has not been repaired. the contact believed that the failure was due to a manufacturer defect. the battery was the original equipment. the current and failure mileages were 63,000.
