Tl contact owns a 2002 cadillac escalade. on september 3, 2007, the contact plugged her television into the cigarette lighter and the vehicle began smoking. the vehicle then became engulfed in flames. her husband doused the vehicle with water and drove it to the cadillac dealer. the carpet was burned, the tracking system failed, and the wiring harness had to be replaced. the purchase date and powertrain were unknown. the current and failure mileages were 48,000.
