2002 BUICK RENDEZVOUS User Comment / Complaint

Tl contact owns a 2002 buick rendezvous. the contact stated that the gas tank overflowed while placing fuel in the vehicle. the failure occurs even when the fuel tank is empty. gasoline would slowly drain into the tank after several seconds and overflow again when new gas entered. the contact stated that the fuel gauge works intermittently. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer. the contact referenced nhtsa campaign id number 07v349000 (fuel system, gasoline:storage). the current mileage was 111,900 and failure mileage was 111,800.
