2003 ford windstar, 50,000 miles, and the transmission needs to be replaced. even though proper maintenance done. vehicle shifts out of gear, and reverse is not hit or miss. search on the internet reveals this vehicle is worthless and a rebuild is recommended over a used one since your only going to get other peoples problems. a new transmission from ford is 3000$ the rebuild will cost $2000.
