1. manual transmission frequently "pops" out of 3rd gear when shifting resulting in car going back into neutral and subsequent drop in speed. 2. incident leads to high risk of rear end collision in traffic, possible loss of control, driver attention diverted to re-shifting. 3. dealer advised manufacturer previously aware of the problem, does not have a solution and does not know if/when a solution will be available. no repairs made or available.
