2006 ACURA TL User Comment / Complaint

My husband was driving the car and while in drive had his foot on the brake and the car revved up and lurched forward, he hit the brake hard to stop it. on october 5th i pulled into a parking space and applied the brake came to a stop and the car accelerated, i hit the brake hard and between the brake and hitting a curb came to a stop! on october 6th i was at a complete stop at a light facing uphill for at least a minute, the light was still red, traffic stopped i had my foot on the brake and the next thing i knew i was being propelled into the car in front of me! the police officer looked at all of the damage, the traffic conditions, talked to the witnesses and encouraged me to look into mechanical failure because it did not make sense! the woman in front of me went by ambulance to the hospital for a neck injury and my car has approx 3,000+ front end damage.
