Tl contact owns a 2001 chrysler sebring. while driving 65 mph, the engine seized without warning. the contact noticed smoke rising from underneath the hood. a local mechanic stated that the head gasket appeared to have failed. the vehicle was towed to the dealer and they stated that there was a crack on the cylinder wall and the engine needed to be replaced. the powertrain was unknown. the current and failure mileages were 103,000.
