Tl contact owns a 1994 mercury grand marquis. within five minutes of parking the vehicle, it caught fire. the fire originated underneath the hood on the driver side near the tire. the fire department extinguished the fire and filed a report. the vehicle was destroyed. the contact received a recall notice in september of 2007 for nhtsa campaign id number 07v336000 (vehicle speed control). the purchase date was unknown. the current and failure mileages were 85,000.
