I noticed an exhaust leak from the passengers side exhaust manifold. turns out the weld that hold the exhaust manifold to the rest of the exhaust has failed, it is now being held up by exhaust hangers and metal strapping, until it will be repaired.

This is a common occurrence with this era Mustangs due to the AC condensation dripping on the right side manifold. There is a Ford TSB about this and they have designed a kit that puts a new shield over the manifold to prevent the drips from damaging the welds. It isn't a recall, however. I just had mine fixed at a muffler shop for the same exact problem. Welding supplies 3 hours of labor tax = $265. You are not alone...
