Noticed the smell of gas. took to dealer where purchased. fuel pump was fine, but the tube had corroded. extended warranty purchased will not cover this because the pump did not fail. failure was due to corrosion. the vehicle is only 5 years old! cost estimate is over $600.00 to fix. have to replace pump also. when repaired, i will ask for the old part. this vehicle has been in shop for repairs more than any one i have ever owned. (front wheel bearings went at about the same time, but were covered under the warranty).
