Tl contact owns a 2001 hyundai elantra. the contact stated that the air bag light remained illuminated. the mechanic stated that the satellite sensor failed. as of september 25, 2007, neither the mechanic nor the dealer had repaired the vehicle. the manufacturer stated that his vin was excluded from nhtsa campaign id number 00v332000 (air bags:side/window). the failure mileage was 70,000 and current mileage was 80,000.
