Cold start issues. car wants to stall upon start up. when car finally warms up the idle smoothes out. the gas mileage is dropping due the malfunctioning seals in the double vanos system. bmw has known about this problem for a long time and they refuse to do anything about it.

Same issue with our car. Vanos seals are malfunctioning. Car wants to stall when cold, smooths out after warming up. All in all, this car has been a big money pit. ABS module failure, heater fan control failure, door locks failing, cam postion sensors, exhaust return/emission control failure. What a dissapointment.  view
