2002 MINI COOPER User Comment / Complaint

Tl contact owns a 2002 bmw mini cooper. while driving 35 mph he noticed smoke coming from the rear of the vehicle, as well as pieces of burning plastic falling from the vehicle. he attempted to apply the brakes however, the vehicle would not stop. he then noticed flames coming from the engine. he was able to pull over and tried to contain the fire however, the fire continued to spread into the interior of the vehicle. the fire department extinguished the fire. the fire destroyed the vehicle. the current and failure mileages were 86,000.
