The 2004 monte carlo speedometer erratic, indicating going 30-12 mph, even though i stopped/ or drove at or near the speed limit on interstate 55 mph and it read 45 mph. i could drive 30 mph, and it read 110 mph. dealer wanted $500.00 to fix. i hope gm recall soon. i heard that gm trucks and suv had this problem.
