Tl contact owns a 2002 hyundai elantra. while driving 25 mph, the vehicle lost steering control and swerved left on a one way street. the failure was caused by the lower control arm. the contact was able to stop the vehicle without a crash. the vehicle was towed to the dealer who stated that the front lower control arm was completely rusted. the vin and purchase date were unknown. the current and failure mileages were 95,000.
