2001 GMC JIMMY User Comment / Complaint

Nhtsa campaign #01v364000 addressed a problem with the brake lights on my vehicle. my vehicle received the service specified by the recall on 4-30-02. now my vehicle has the condition (failure of the right and left brake lights but not the center brake light) which led to the recall. my position is that the failure is due to a known design flaw which was addressed in a recall. the recall repair did not remedy the problem as evidenced by the current failure. the dealers position is that they did the recall service and are no longer responsible.
