2007 CHEVROLET AVEO User Comment / Complaint

Dt*: the consumer stated that after purchasing a new vehicle, the passenger side airbag intermittently went into lock mode. the vehicle was taken to a dealer who performed a diagnostic test the vehicle was currently at the dealer and was not being serviced. the vehicle was a 2007 chevrolet aveo. updated 10/25/2006 - the air bag locked in the off mode although an adult passenger (155 lbs) was in the passenger seat. the vehicle was taken to the dealer and tested. the dealer stated that their test indicated there was nothing wrong with the system. the dealer claimed that the passenger was sitting in the seat incorrectly.
