Transmission on my 2005 jeep liberty crd diesel experiences on-going shudder and hard shifting when driving it. chrysler has issued several tsb's to correct the software issue, but the problem continues. many other liberty crd diesel owners experienced the same symptom before their transmission completely failed and required full replacement. i am afraid to take the car on long-distance trips from home for fear or being broken down on rural highways or roads and stuck hundreds of miles from home while a jeep dealer takes 2 or 3 weeks to replace my transmission. chrylser needs to fix this, please help! regarding the incident date, please note i just chose today's date because it has been happening ever since i got the jeep.

Affected vehicle: 2003 audi a4 sedan. air bag failure light remained on, no prior accident or event that caused the failure light to remain on. had problem diagnosed by audi dealership and it was found to be caused by a faulty airbag igniter in the steering wheel. igniter replaced with a new part from audi but was not covered under warranty or recall. transport canada has a recall on this problem for the same vehicle, 2003 audi a4. transport canada recall # is 2002221 and details can be found on: (http://www.tc.gc.ca/roadsafety/recalls/recall_e.asp?recno=10276&). transport canada reports that canadian audi dealers will replace the airbag units on all affected vehicles. nhtsa has a similar recall for the 2003 audi a6 and the nhtsa recall id is 02v275000 and details can be found on: (http://www.automallusa.net/2003/audi/a6/recalls.html). nhtsa reports that audi usa dealers will replace the air bags on all affected vehicles.

Dt*: the contact stated that while driving between 30 to 65 mph, the vehicle violently swayed from side to side or performed a death wobble. the vehicle was taken to the independent repair shop on 08/27/03 and the front struts were replaced. the contact has replaced the tires, struts, shocks, and had a wheel alignment, but the problem keeps occurring daily on all road conditions. there was no warning prior to the failure and the vehicle wobbles more violently as speed increases.

I brought my extended 2002 trailblazer in to the dealer for a recall on the rear doors, a seal for the bottom. i think it was for the door latch rusting out and flying open while your driving. i told them to check the abs because the warning light was on. they supposedly checked it out and told me that the front drivers side hub was very wobbly and it caused the sensor to go bad. me being a mechanic also, decided to take it to my trusted garage and told them to replace the hub. my vehicle only has 45000 miles on it and i didn't think that this part should have gone bad. so i left it at the garage and about an hr later i got a call from them saying that not only the hub but both lower ball joints were bad, drivers side control arm joint was ready to fall off, this steers the wheel! and the brake pads that i just put on about a yr ago are worn at an angle. now mind you, i just had this vehicle inspected a yr ago and it was fine. its pretty embarrassing to have an almost new vehicle go in the shop and need the front end rebuilt. this really needs to be looked into because the front wheel could have broken off while driving. also i have a list of warranty work that was done on this vehicle about a mile long. now i have to spend over $1000 to get my vehicle back on the road. this just isn't right! i think i will be going to the honda dealer when i get this junk fixed!!!!!! chevy out ---- honda in!

We have 2 monte carlos, a 2000 and 2004, both of these had sensors go out of the gas gauge. in talking with some others, theirs did too. royal chevrolet in bloomington, in charges almost $500 for this. i feel since this is happening a lot to this brand of car, it should be recalled.
