2004 GMC 1500 User Comment / Complaint

Dt*: the contact stated while driving at an unknown speed, the brakes were applied and failed. when the brake pedal was pressed, it was spongy and went to the floor. the vehicle was stopped without incident. the rear stainless steel brake line had split. the vehicle has not been taken to the dealer for inspection and the manufacturer has not been alerted.
