Dt*: the contact stated while the vehicle was parked over night the brake light remained illuminated. the next day the battery was jump started before the vehicle started. during inspection the dealership determined the driver side rear brake light lens was melted however, the brake light switch continued to function. there is a nhtsa recall, # 06v139000, regarding the brake light switch. the vin was not included in the recall.
