Traveling south on hwy 78 in sachse, tx my engine stalled at cruising speed if 45 mph. i lost all power steering and braking control on my 2000 f250 diesel. i partially got my truck into a turn lane, and after 5 minutes of repeated cranking the truck started again only to stall out 15 seconds later. the date below is approximate, but can be verified as the part was changed under warranty, and explained as normal by my dealership.  view

Automatic tensioner failed. bearing makes terrible squeaking sound when cold. getting worse as months go by. also worse in cold, wet weather. brought car to dealer. they said it's not covered in basic warranty. didn't get extended warranty. is this right? seems like a defective part. seems like it should be covered under drive train warranty. have seen same problem with 2 other corrolla's from similar years. why doesn't toyota replace this part as part of regular warranty?  view

I had my ignition switch replace once already, having to pay 300.00 the first time, and know just the other day i went to visit my brother, and when i got ready to leave, my key would not start, my brother had left before me, so i was stranded, me and my boys for 45 minutes in 20 degree weather, i was so upset, i can not believe ford is not doing a recall, im selling this piece a crap of a car, and will never again by a ford car, and im going to spread the word on how horrible there service and cars are.  view

Theft-light came on for no apparent reason. had to wait ten minutes for system to reset before starting car. had key-lock cylinder replaced twice, for a total of over $1400 in repairs. now the light is on seemingly permanently. always wonder if it will start or not. can't get anyone besides a dealer to even look at it. the dealer has enough of my money for now...i have to deal with being inconvenienced regularly by this problem.  view

I purchased the car new in september 1998. on december 13, 1999 i was involved in an accident. i was driving to work that morning on a major interstate, i-285 east, it was around 7:30 am and traffic was bumper to bumper. traffic began moving and i was going approximately 40 mph when suddenly the truck in front of me slammed on his brakes and i hit him. the nose of my care was smashed so hard that the hood crumpled into a tepee and was pushed back into the windshield causing the glass to crack. i couldn't open my doors because the impact had pushed the doors back so they overlapped the back quarter panels and were jammed. luckily no one was hurt. this was a dead on front impact accident in a practically brand new car and the airbags did not deploy. there was not a single inch of the front end that didn't take the impact so there is no way it "missed the sensors". the damage to the car ended up being over $10,000.00. the airbags seriously malfunctioned and i was lucky that i wasn't injured.  view

2001 ford taurus 65,000 mi vehicle inspected observed frame right side of vehicle where lower control arm attaches is severely corroded to point where vehicle is unsafe to operate. this is an extremely premature condition for this vehicle even with the fact that it is operated in a northern climate.  view

2006 camry, only 5 thousand miles, back right continental brand tire unexpectedly and suddenly blew out and was completely obliterated, at 75 mph, ruined the rim, and caused vehicle to loose stability and ruined the rim. vehicle spun around several times on the freeway, hit the median on the left side, causing the front left tire and rim to also be ruined, as well as damaging the drive train. no other cars were involved, but passengers could've been killed and were extremely shaken. we believe the continental tires are defective and inferior. the vehicle was undrivable and towed to a toyota dealership where vehicle was repaired at owner's expense. according to research on this website, continental tires have been investigated for this same occurrence previously. we believe toyota used an inferior brand of tire on the 2006 camry. they also did not help pay to repair any damages to the car resulting from this tire failure.  view

This is in regards to a 2003 ford ses taurus air bags failed to deploy in an accident when the car was in a direct hit in front and totaled with 12,000 of damage including block cracked on engine. vin # 1fafp55s23g222800. note this car we requested to have replaced under the lemon law and went all the way and couldn't get any help from anyone to get anything done. please help us in resolve for our needs resolve but not to let another person get hurt and or abused as such. there was injuries in this case and i do have a full sent of photos to fax. sincerely its time to stop this type of irresponsible actions.  view
