I have a 2002 chevrolet camaro i purchased in october of 2004. myself and a friend were on our way to work @ 6:15 am when we were struck head on by a large suv. we were running 45 mph (head on" and driver nor passenger air bags deployed leaving my passenger"best friend" with a large bruise on the right side of her brain which causes terrible headaches for her, and myself with conflicting back and neck problems had the airbags went off they would have at least kept us from jamming our bodies at full force forward into the windshield and myself the steering wheel. this accident did $7000.00 worth of damage to the front of the camaro and messed up our lives forever. instead of totaling the car like it should have been it was fixed and it is still defective the insurance company which did not do there job right in examining the car thoroughly for the extent of damage it had, all they did was look at the car take one picture estimated the cost at $3500.00 less than what it ended up costing to repair, they never looked under the hood nor the front end to see that the front end on the driver side was completely destroyed the tire was falling off and not attached to anything completely destroyed and still no air bags. he would not even authorize the body shop to check the air bags nor censors. i have a son that has to ride in this defective car and that scares me to death. we were almost killed!! we still cant work due to the extent of our injuries. i pay $400.00 a month for a car i once loved my first nice car which is now a car i hate and am scared of. i cant get a different one i have no income. i feel gm should step up help out and take responsibility for this mistake. if not we may have to take further action.

Dt*: the contact stated while traveling the windshield wipers turned off after 5 hours of use. the wipers came back on and went off again three times before quitting. the vehicle was towed to a dealership and left over night before it could be inspected the next morning. upon inspection the windshield wipers worked. according to the owner's manual there is a safety feature that turns off the wiper motor before it becomes too hot. although the circuit breaker did not appear to be faulty the dealership replaced it. during the return trip the wipers failed again. the vehicle will be taken into the dealership. updated 2/28/2006 - the vehicle was taken back to the dealer who stated that the problem was faulty brushings in the wiper motor.

(1) started hearing noises from both front wheel hub assembly's (front wheel bearings) (2) took it to my local firestone service station where they identified the problem - they told me it would get worse if i kept driving it, but at the time i could not afford $312/per bearing plus labor = over $800 in repairs. i drove the car 2 more days and the wheel bearings locked up on me while driving - the car almost came to a sudden stop, veered off to the left of the road... (3) i found the parts cheaper on the internet ($233/per hub) and had a local mechanic install them and saved hundreds. * searching for the parts, i found several other bulletins, notices even on the nhtsa website, and plenty of unhappy 2001 montero customers that have had to spend nearly $1,000 to replace both hub assembly's * think this is ridiculous that these hubs are going bad for such a new vehicle... why isn't this being recalled?????

The honda goldwing 1800gl, has a low speed wobble in the steering. i have been told by many owners the same thing. the wobble is at speeds of 35-45 mph. all of the dealers say there is no problem, but there are two many of us complaining of the same thing. most us believe that the home office is telling all of them to deny. with this problem, you must hold the bars tight, of course some are worst than others. i believe this could be a safety issue. one thing for sure its needs some looking into. i have communicated with folks from ca to ny, all say the same thing. wobble.
