Sudden loss of transmission fluid resulted in engine light warning. internet searches on this vehicle provided similar complaints on this 2000 town & country van. it has 56,000 miles. also reported leak of brake fluid and dealer suggested replacement of faulty brake fluid drums (potential safety issue). informed chrysler regarding this matter but they refused warranty coverage, resulting in expensive repair work over $600 for transmission fluid and brake pad repair work. also, driver's side automatic window motor stopped functioning and replacement was necessary $325. dealer reported frequent problems with motor. dealer informed 9 out of 10 times issue related to replacement of motor so glass can function correctly. required to function to pass de safety inspection. when attempted to change flat tire, the hydraulic gauge did not hold the weight of the vehicle and buckled. faulty and dangerous hydraulic tire replacement equipment and can cause very serious injury.

The rear bumper on the baja qwest tore all three of its welds from what seems to be no more force than the torque of the large spare tire attached to it combined with regular highway driving.

I am experiencing continuing safety problems with my volvo xc90. this vehicles all wheel drive (awd) system is malfunctioning without warning and at random times. this results in unpredictable and erratic vehicle handling which creates serious safety issues to the vehicles driver and occupants. this has been occurring for at least one year and was confirmed and documented by a volvo dealer during the summer of 2005. i must point out this safety problem involves an active system that cannot be controlled, adjusted or disabled by the vehicles driver. this safety problem caused an accident during the winter of 2005. at that time, the all wheel drive system failed suddenly and without warning on a snow covered road. this caused sudden and uncontrolled front wheel spin which led to a loss of vehicle control and with the vehicle sliding off a road. a tow truck was required to move the vehicle back on the road. the volvo dealer that confirmed the problem has made several failed attempts to repair it. they have documented communication problems within the vehicles high speed network and reloaded vehicle software. they have also replaced: 1) the vehicles front wheel sensors, 2) the mfi module used for vehicle diagnostics, 3) the bcm module used by the awd system, and 4) the awd aoc unit with clutch and transmission. none of this has resolved the safety problems i am experiencing from this vehicle. this volvo dealer has told me the problem cannot be repaired because: 1) the vehicles diagnostic system does not report any diagnostic codes, 2) their own technicians cannot diagnose the problem, and 3) volvo technicians cannot determine the problem. my requests to volvo cars of north america have been ignored or rejected, even by volvo consumer affairs and volvo regional managers. i am left to driving a vehicle with obvious safety problems that cannot be diagnosed or repaired by anyone.

I have a 2004 f-350 turbo diesel 6.0 l. truck. the truck surges when you drive it. it cuts out. it dies on the road when you are driving it. we have made several complaints to rich ford in edgewood and albuquerque. this is a very serious safety hazard. they have attempted to fix it four times. the last time i took it to rich ford in albuquerque was because i was waiting to pull out into traffic with my foot on the brake and the truck was surging forward into traffic. i was very scared as was my ten year old son. i had my foot pressed as hard as i could on the break and that was not stopping the truck from moving forward. i drove straight to the dealership, rich ford of albuquerque, and they told me that they could not service my vehicle that day. i would have to wait two weeks. i was scared to drive the truck home. i am afraid for my family's safety. this is a dangerous vehicle and ford is not willing to do anything about it. they have made several attempts to fix the problem but they can not "duplicate" the problem when they have it in their custody. this is a dangerous vehicle and should be taken off the road. this started about six months ago maybe longer. the last time i took it to the dealership where they turned me away was february 1, 2006.
