2002 AUDI TT User Comment / Complaint

2002 audi made a clunking noise when turning and would not shift into gear. when the consumer downshifted the vehicle from third to second gear at approximately 25 mph the vehicle made a clunk noise. the consumer stopped the vehicle and when he attempted to move the vehicle he found that it was difficult to get it into gear. a rattling noise was also heard in the front of the vehicle. later that month the vehicle was taken to the dealer who determined that the axle had broken.
