Good morning, my name is ryan grubbs and i live in hamilton ohio. i am the owner of the 2001, dodge intrepid. on january 28, 2006 my wife was driving down a rural road when the engine of the car started to tick as she was slowing to go around a bend in the road. she looked at the gauges to find nothing real abnormal. when she got almost around the bend and tried to speed up a little the engine would not respond. the wheels ended up locking before finishing the curve, and she slid off the road. my wife had to get out of the car in a dangerous part of the road and walk quite a distance to get to a phone to call me. we have four children and one or all could have been with her at the time. if the engine would have stopped sooner she could have gotten really hurt. i had the car towed to a repair shop in fairfield, ohio, and they have since informed me that the whole engine needed to be replaced. after talking vehicle to the mechanic, he informed me of the problems of this engine. this engine did have sludge build up in it. when i would take it to get its regular oil change i would have to get the engine flushed to get the sludge out, costing more money. also having problems with heating system. but, i associated that with some sort of heating element not working. it would work fine moving down the road, but when i would stop at a sign or a light it would get cold. i had all the signs i have discovered from your web site after the engine went out. i would appreciate any help or information you could provide.  view

Abs warning light flashes constantly with chime sounding each time the car starts. probably been ongoing for the last 6-8 months. was told by independent repair shop the problem was just electrical, but now reading numerous other complaints i believe it to be the abs module failing in so many other cars. seems like volkswagen needs to take care of this issue.  view

1. purchased car used in february 2005. fan broke off in july 2005. ran air daily in summer, no problems, then one day it just made a popping noise. there were pieces of the plastic fan on the ground, and a piece still under the hood. 2. i have a warranty, but it does not cover this vehicle. it overheats if i idle too long because there is no fan. to purchase a fan shroud from a jeep dealer costs $370-400, not including labor. 3. have not replaced fan/fan shroud yet.  view

I have taken vehicle to armstrong ford, world ford, and then sawgrass ford at least 6 times for the same problem.... my vehicle jumps forward when i am not even pushing on the gas pedal. or it dies when it's on idle position. they have changed parts, done recall repairs, and the last time i had to pay over $100.00 for them to tell me they couldn't find the cause of the problem. i am afraid one day someone is going to cross in front of me and this vehicle is going to jump forward and hurt someone!!! i am tired of this problem i. have been dealing with this since a month after i bought it!!! this is crazy that they can't seem to find the cause of the problem!, and they don't want to try.... i guess they want someone to get hurt.  view

During a routine wheel inspection, the left front wheel was found to be cracked. cf wheel stamping.  view

Purchased pontiac g6 gt in april 2005 since fall of 2005 steering column has locked up numerous times for 2 sec intervals. have taken it back 5 times for this till they replaced steering column. as of today 1/11/06 it was dropped off at the dealership again for the same problem along with brake pedal and panels around it rattling. car only has 13,800 miles on it.  view

Car heater motor failed - full of water- repairman says it'll keep happening because of design flaw of 2003 ford taurus wagon.  view
