At 52073 miles consumers suburban stalled while driving. ** answer required*** the fuel pump failed three times. the transmission was replaced, the tires had worn out and was separating, the engine light had come on due to the air injector and the rear parking brakes had worn out.  view

Consumer 2000 ford taurus has a defective rear coil spring. ** answer required*** the rear passenger's side coils spring broke. less than three weeks later the front driver's side coil spring broke and punctured the front driver's side tire. the vehicle was towed to the dealer and the manufacturer was contacted. they agreed to pay for the front coils sping replacement, under recall 04v332000 , but refused to reimburse the consumer for the rear spring replacement.  view

2003 jaguar s type is now on its fifth replaced clutch and second starter. *** no answer required*** the consumer would like to be absolved of the lease and refunded of all monies invested in the vehicle.  view

Consumer was unable to have recall work done on 2003 saturn vue, due to parts were not available. the consumer also encountered problems with the a/c failing to work properly, molding peeling away from the structure and the rear suspension collapsing which caused the roll over.  view

My 2004 cad. srx showed a left rear flat tire. i pulled the vehicle to a level, asphalted, scenic overlook area, 23 miles from page, az. i could not get the shifter from drive into park gear, nor would the key turn or release from the ignition. i got out to check and change tire, spare would not release, either. i called on-star, gave emergency details, to first advisor, then advance diagnostics. i got out of car, it surged, backwards, with the emergency brake, completely on, and it accelerated, taking me with it, i pushed away, and it kept accelerating over the scenic overlook, being destroyed. on-star never contacted the police, ambulance, or me, even 1 week after the accident, i had to call them and request the audio or transcript of the malfunctions, and crash.  view

While driving a rock penetrated the tread and casing of the tire causing it to go flat. *** no answer required*** updated 11/7/2005 - the vehicle was purchased with an off-road package which included goodyear p265/70r25 m&s on-off road tires. the consumer was driving on an unpaved road when a rock penetrated the tread and casing of the tire causing it to go flat. the vehicle was taken to a goodyear dealer and the tire was replaced (5300 miles). the tire tech stated that he has replaced many of these tires. a little over a week later the consumer was driving on the same unpaved road when a second tire was penetrated by a rock and went flat (6492 miles). the vehicle was taken to the dealer were all four tire were replaced with a different brand. the consumer feels that these tire are unsafe for use on unpaved roads and request reimbursement for the cost incurred due to the faulty tires.  view

Experiencing windshield wiper problem.....wipers turn on without activating the switch, and sometimes i can't turn them on when its raining......a safety problem. a march 2000 recall #00v072000 did not include my vin # therefore ford will not pay for the repair. new multifunction switch installed by dealer at my expense. recall should be expanded to include more vehicles.  view

Dt: the contact stated while driving vehicle she smelled melted plastic, maybe an electrical odor. when she pulled over fire and smoke was coming from the dashboard vents. there were no prior warnings or prior problems with the vehicle. the vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire. the insurance company inspected the vehicle to determine the cause of the fire.  view

Dt:the contact stated the upper and lower ball joints on both sides broke while driving in a parking lot. the vehicle had to be towed to the dealership, where the ball joints and the anti lock brake sensors were replaced. contacted the manufacturer, there were nhtsa recalls 01i018000 and 01v200000, but this vehicle was not included in the recalls due to vin. in addition, this vehicle experienced several other problems as well. the left door broke off while in the driveway, the male joint of the door broke when shutting the door. also, the transmission and anti lock brakes were replaced. the anti lock brake sensor was replaced twice.  view
