The convertible top rear window is fogging can't see consumer said there is a recall on the side of the convertible top is coming apart can't find recall .

When i went to have my car inspected, the service tech said that it wouldn't pass and asked if i had a local mechanic that i wanted to take it to. i took it too meineke and he said that the pipe going into my converter went and i had to replace the pipe and converter. he said that it was relatively common for my car. i have a 1995 toyota camry and it had a little over 29,000 miles on it.

Fuel pump shorted out. after the fuel pump was removed from the gas tank, it was noticed that the wire harness was melted at the wire connector inside the tank. there was also some exposed wires on the outside of the fuel pump at that same wire connector. no work has ever been performed in this area.

I purchased a nissan titan in april 2004. may 2004 with 1000 miles on it, it was in to have brake calipers replaced. i drove it 23 miles and the calipers went out again. since that time it has been in 4 other times with a terrible shaking in the steering wheel when brakes were applied, worse at higher speeds. one of those times nothing was done about it. the last 3 times rotors have been turned and brake pads replaced (x2), and then this last time the front rotors were replaced, the back ones turned, brake pads replaced and bolt casings changed. the truck only has 17,500 miles on it. it lasts for approximately 3000-5000 miles before the "brake judder " begins. i pull a horse trailer with this truck and i worry of the safety of this as the problem is definitely worse with a load on the back. other then pulling the trailer this truck has no stress with only city and highway driving.

Purchased a previously owned 2005 dodge magnum from local dealership 45 days ago i experienced very serious pulling to the right. the dealership has indicated it had the vehicle aligned and two (2) new front tires installed before purchase. they have had me (they paid) take it in for three (3) more alignments with the last time the technicians needed to replace bent tie rods before the alignment could even be completed. it continues to have a very serious pull to the right, with no resolution in sight. the alignment shop has indicated it is using the latest dodge bulletins pertaining to the alignment issue (2 previous version also exist). feathering of the 'new' front tires is already apparent and i know it will only get worst; whether it is the unnecessary replacement of tires or an incident caused by this excessive uneven wearing of tire tread. the dealership is now non-responsive and has refused to do anything more. they have declared it as 'normal' for this vehicle and it is due to a manufacturer design problem. i have a new born baby that i am scarred to strap her into this death trap. it is the only vehicle that my wife and i own and are afraid to even drive it. it is an accident waiting to happen.

This is an lexus rx300 2000 edition; the problem has been an electrical problem. it started with an untraceable problem in which the rear tail brake light stopped working; later on, the two main head-lamps stopped working; fuses have been changed, bulbs have changed, but no problem has been found. the car has not been in any accidents or damage.

We drive a 1999 dodge ram 3/4 ton truck with an 11 foot camper on it. last week while on vacation in montana, we had a major engine failure while driving at 70 mph. on the mountain roads of interstate 90. the failure was sudden and there was no indication that there was a problem. i was able to get the truck off the highway and onto the shoulder before it came to a complete stop, even with the loss of power steering and brakes. we had the truck towed to missoula where the problem was traced to the injection pump freezing up from lack of fuel pressure from the transfer pump. this repair cost us $2500.00 and could have been avoided with a notice from dodge or cummins to have the pressure checked. i have since found out that the problem is common and is occurring with all the cummins engines installed in the ram pickups, since the introduction of the 24 valve engine in 1998. a simple sensor that would have turned on the check engine light when the transfer pump started losing pressure, would have been sufficient. this is a very dangerous situation to have occur at freeway speeds when the power steering and brakes are lost with no warning. thank goodness i was driving instead of my wife or daughter. please let us know if there have been other complaints because, it seems to be getting shoved under the rug by both dodge and cummins who are both claiming no responsibility. thank you.

Just arrived home in my 1998 ford expedition from work on october 6, 2005 around 5:50 pm ran in to change clothes. we were in the house no more than 5-8 minutes when we heard a strange sound. ran to the front door and noticed smoke and fire coming out from under the hood of my vehicle. my neighbor ran for the water hose & put water on the fire until the fire department arrived to help. if this had happened just a few minutes before we would have been still in the vehicle and could have lost our lives in the fire. just a few days before this incident ford choose to send out recall notices in september 2005 on this year makemodel regarding the speed control wiring. not only that i had just taken my vehicle into ford service at a local dealership for a problem with my air conditioner and the rear end. they should have corrected this defect at that time but did not. ford should have sent out recall notices a couple of years ago due to this defect when people were having problems then. if it had been done i would still have my vehicle up to this day.
