1) 2005 yamaha yzf r1. normal everyday riding for 10,000 miles. after work i warmed up my motorcycle to 170 deg f. 2) when i slowed down the rpm's dropped under 1,000 and the motorcycle stalls/dies. it died 3 more times before i could get to a place to pull over. after i pulled over i got off my motorcycle and then let it idle. the idle was low but did not die. i then ride more and it happened 1 more time. i had to rev the engine to keep it from dying. i stopped and let the bike sit for over 1 hour. after i started it back up everything was running perfect again. i rode ~80 miles home with no problems. the next morning i started the motorcycle and let it warm up to 170 deg f again. i took off and when i was slowing down the bike jerked my forward and died. the bike almost fell over. it continued to do then when i test rode it around the block. i then parked it and drove my car to work. i began doing research on the internet and found that other riders also had my problem. after i got home i test rode my bike and everything is working fine. i also rode to work today with out any problems. this is common with a problem that i read about the 2004 yzf r1 also. it looks like the most common fix was replacing the upper and lower tps sensor. i called my dealer and he told me it was my throttle body not in sync. also from what i read was a missed diagnosed problem from yamaha. 3) i am going to my dealer tomorrow to fix the "throttle body sync issue" please refer to this website and the roughly 100 other riders with the 2004/2005 model yamaha r1 http://www.r1-forum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98831&perpage=20&pagenumber=1.

On hot days after my vehicle sits in the sun, the gas pedal sticks. on one day my car was in park running at 7000 rpm's. i called two different dealerships that told me this was not possible and my car was not covered in the recall for this exact problem. the third dealership finally acknowledged i was not safe in this vehicle and the service manager stayed late to wait for me (with a mechanic) to look at my car. once they looked at my car it was determined that this was the problem.

Graco cargo (model # 8689cav, manufactured 1/10/05) purchase at local retail store with tether harness not attached. parent did not know where it was to attach to when she showed up for car seat check-up event. the car seat says do not remove on the stirro foam that pads the back of the car seat, but in order to install tether the stirro foam needed to be removed and replaced . parent called graco and they are sending a replacement stirro foam backing for the seat and told mother how to install tether and how to replace foam with new foam. parent was very satisfied with replacement of foam, and child will be ready to use when he is big enough for car seat.

I had noticed some water leaking into the passenger side floorboard but could not determine it's source. apparently, a cowl (i may be misspelling) was cracked and leaking into the blower motor which caused the blower motor to fail. the $400 dollar repair is hefty but i don't have much choice. with a michigan winter right around the corner, a broken blower would be a huge safety issue as my windshield defrost won't work. the dealer said this is a common problem which sounds absurd for a car that is only two years old. apparently, ford has issued a technical service bulletin regarding this issue and developed a kit which solves the problem. they are aware of the problem and should not expect their customers to pay for an obvious design flaw which may compromise a passenger's safety.

My 1998 chevrolet z71 pickup has a malfunctioning windshield wiper motor. this is not the only one on this model pickup i have had to go out. i own two pickups this year model, and both have the problem. seems like gm should pick up on this and fix the defect. i have to keep rainx in my vehicle to help me see in rain storms. the local chevrolet dealer wants too much to fix the problem, so i have to deal with it the only way i know how to. it has cause many near misses for me, and i am sure it will cause a wreck if it continues to go unfixed.

I have experienced numerous abs brake failures while driving at a low rate of speed. my car is unable to stop under this condition. i brought my car in for service yesterday. the front wheel sensor was diagnosed as a failed part. it was replaced at my cost. i brought to the attention to the dealer directly and to general motors on their phone hotline, the gm recall # 05068 and the nhts campaign#05v379000. i was told my vin # has not been included in the recall, therefore i would have to pay for the repair which i did. obviously my car should fall within the recall, per the data that is available paired with the problem/defect and repair that was performed on my car. does one need to crash or be killed to be included in a recall?! i am requesting immediate reimbursement of the repair bill for this item from general motors or from the dealership. i am very unhappy how i was treated at the dealership, where i have been servicing my car for many years. i am equally unhappy with gm's failure to take accountability for this problem.

Dt: the caller was pulling out of a parking spot when she suddenly lost control of the vehicle. it accelerated on its own , and she tried the brake and it did not work. she said the steering wheel did not work, she tried to turn the wheel and nothing happened. the vehicle hit a parked car. the police came and a report was taken. no one was hurt. dealer has not been contacted yet. the manufacturer said a case worker will call her this week. they called her back and said the case was closed, and insurance company would have to handle it. the vehicle was leased.
