2001 GMC 2500 HD User Comment / Complaint

Dt: the contact owns a 2001 gmc 2500 pick up truck, and the brakes have completely deteriorated. the vehicle had only 18,000 miles. while driving heard a buzzing noise from the back of the vehicle. the consumer continued driving the vehicle home, and later had the vehicle towed to a service dealer. the service dealer stated the vehicle needed to have brake pads, rotors, and calipers on the back. on the front of the vehicle the rotors will need to be turned. the abs front speed sensor was defective. the service dealer had to replace the abs front speed sensor, replace at least one rotor on the back, a back caliper, and the front rotors will need to be turned, and may have to replace the front brake pads.
