Dt: , a steel wheel is cracked and vibrated. took vehicle to dealer who balanced tires. still experienced problems and discovered the crack in the wheel. this was very evident, but the dealer did not note this to the owner. there was a kia recall regarding wheels, but this vehicle did not comply due to the vin. had to have this wheel replaced. no others wheels as of yet are cracked.

Dt: the cross over of the fuel improperly overfills the second tank, spilling fuel out of vehicle. there were 2 safety recalls of this item. but ford was saying that one recall was taken care of by a previous owner. the second recall expired, and ford will not fix this problem. ford has been contacted by the customer and the repair facility. ford was still not willing to help. this has been a problem for a couple of months. the customer was having it repaired at his own expense. if there was a safety issue on this problem it should be taken care off by dealer no matter how many times it comes up.

We have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee that has had consistent brake problems. since 2001, we have had to resurface the rotors six times and the vehicle is experiencing the same problem today. this is not an operator problem, but is a safety problem with the front brakes. i have discussed this wth my mechanic and he says it is a consistent problem with these cars.

1.normal driving , window starting to fog up. turn on defroster. 2. instantly total loss of visability because of windshield being covered with heavey fog 3.nothing done, i thought i must have had something set wrong in the heater/ defroster buttons. i pulled over tried several different settings and window eventually cleared. (this fog was to the degree that i would not have started on my trip until i cleared the windshield if it had been like that when i got into the vehicle) i have nevr been able to determine when this is going to happen or any way to prevent it. it is however very dangerous . even after the fog has occured, it is difficult to get it to clear quickly. it can happen when the car is cold or very warmed up.i had to put in a speed but this is truly irrelevant.

Dt: the automatic transmission is not operating properly. at times it is hard to change gears from first to second gear. this happens in any road condition. the speed when this problem happened was 10-20 mph. the car was taken to the dealer may 4, 2005. the problem has not been fixed. when the car was taken to the dealer, they were able to reproduce the problem.

Dt: the problem began on 6/14/05 when all lights came on and all guages went to zero, the power door locks and windows failed as well. the vehicle had no brakes, it coasted to a stop, and shut down, owner was locked in vehicle. the alternator and belt were replaced, owner got in back seat because air bag light came on. tow truck driver tried to restart the vehicle but it had a completely dead battery. owner was able to get out finally when they were trying to restart the battery. she grabbed the handle and was able to get out. vehicle was towed to an impound lot, and the alternator was changed at tow place by a mechanic. it was 90 + degrees outside and no fresh air was coming in the vehicle.
