1995 GMC C15 User Comment / Complaint

The cooling fan blade just broke while stopped at a light. it made the car thump i thought someone hit us but the fan blades broke the fan shrode and put dents all in the radiator and broke the fan guard. this vechile has had many of the same problems due to the electrical system. we lease the jeep and have put $$$ in it because they would not take it back as a lemon with in the 2 years. i still hear a beep coming from under the dash that jeep never found the problem or fixed it. i just had the fan relay changed because it went out. with in the first 2 years i had it in the shop for a variety of electrical problems i have all the paper work. i am afraid the jeep will catch on fire or cause an accident. i've also checked many other things that were issues with the jeep. leaking shocks and transmission pan and emissions is now leaking. the check engine light stays on and every time i get it checked it's a different problem. i'm out of my warranty now but there have been so many different things wrong. the dealer replaced 2 of 4 leaking shocks they left the transmission pan loose when they replaced a part in the transmission. this jeep is unsafe for the road it has lost power in the past while traveling so they replaced the battery twice with in a month.  view

Dt: 2000 ford explorer was parked in front of the house. the consumers daughter saw t he vehicle on fire. the fire department said it was most likely a faulty circuit breaker.  view

Dt: ford recalled front springs. however, the rear springs have penetrated the tire tread and the rear passenger's side. both springs broke, but only one penetrated the tire. spoke with dealer and ford as well and they do not want to remedy this problem. felt this was unsafe and wanted a recall on the rear as well. ford said it was not on the steering wheel side so there was an accident with a tire punctured with the springs it would not affect the steering .  view

I have a problem when my f250 diesel runs at 1200-1500rpm, the engine seems to shutter and loads up. it sometimes seems to start to stall out and lose power. the dealer has had the vehicle in their service department six times and can not find the problem. they have changes the exhaust sensor and remap the computer with no luck. they have test driven the truck and had the problem occur. the vehicle is becoming dangerous to drive because of the lose of power in traffic. i have had a couple of close rearend collisons becasue of the problem. nothing has been done to correct the problem. the dealer can not find the problem and has advised me to keep driving it at my risk. hoping to find a fault code.  view

Dealer refused to repair the air bag equipment in the 2003 chevrolet malibu stating it has a 1998 malibu air bag system. shortly after the consumer bought the vehicle air bag light came on and stayed on. the consumer had a factory warranty on the vehicle, so he took it to the dealership and the dealership told the consumer that they could not fix the air bag system problem because the air bag was from a 1998 chevy malibu. consumer wants to know if it is against the law to have old car parts in a newer model car.  view

I currently own a 2001 chevy tahoe lt 4x4 and just had my brakes fixed because of a problem with the design related to the anti-lock sensors. for the past few months i've been having problem when coming to a slow stop the anti locking brakes activate, then having to use the emergency brake to get the suv to stop. when i had the system reviewed, there were no indications in the various onboard computers that there were any abs errors, so it was suggested that the brakes will need to be done. i spent over $1000.00 replacing brake parts and the problem still continued. the next review of the problem, the warranty company suggested that it could be the wheel bearings, but to first try and clean the sensors first. since the wheel bearings are over $350.00 each, we had the sensors cleaned. my local mechanic cleaned the sensors and at this point i've not had any more problems. but they told me i will again because of the design of the vehicle. the repair shop that fixed my car is located in so. burlington, vermont "autoworks".  view
