My 97 ford expedition caught on fire while parked in home depot parking lot 10-29-05. the fire was electrical, and it started under the hood according to the insurance report.

Rear brakes howl in reverse. dealer stated needs break in. at 41.000 miles, still howls. recall on upper ball joints received in february. as of 03-29-05, dealer states there is a 2 month backorder on parts for repair.

Toyota failed to fix defect with brakes under warranty, left front brake failed, and caught fire after short drive. dealer failed to fix second time claimed it was not their problem, car had been tampered with, toyot0 dealership was lone repair shop ever used.

Excessive brake repairs. i have had to replace my brakes every 30,000 miles. i have never had a car or truck that has needed to have all the components of the braking system replaced with such frequency. while at the dealer another owner was complaining to service about the same issue

Ignition cylinder seized and needed to be replaced, car has 78,000 miles and i feel that this is a poor design. cost of repairs was $185.00 and i had to replace the ignition key as well. i have old part for inspection if needed.

While driving accelerator pedal is hard to apply when passing or pulling from a stop, the pedal will stick. consumer has to use his foot to release the accelerator pedal. the gas needle fluctuates from empty to full continually. consumer very concerned that the fuel gauge problem could be a fire hazard.
