There is a horrible wind noise on the rear quarter panel windows of my 2004, chevroloet silverado. after several attempts to repair the problem, there is still windnoise apparent.  view

My wife drove for about 15 minutes and parked the 1999 dodge stratus. at that moment, mrs. aponte smelled and saw smoke coming from under the hood. by the time the fire was put out by firemen, the vehicle was totaled. the firemen told her that the fire was due to an electrical fault with the vehicle. the fire burned more by the driver side.  view

Recall campaign 03v423000 concerning ignition switch. owner received a recall notice from the manufacturer pertaining to this recall. owner took vehicle to the dealer to have this recall repairs done. however, the dealership wanted to charge the owner $500.00 for repairs.  view

After being stopped at an intersection i slowly pulled away when the light turned green. it sounded as if i ran over something ,and the truck started making loud noises and jerking. i pulled off the road, parked it, and had it towed to the local ford dealer in columbus, oh. they said it had blown a spark plug and stripped the threads in the head - it only had 41,000 miles on it. this appears to be a common problem with these trucks and could be dangerous in certain circumstances. i paid the charge to put a helicoil in as a temporary fix until i can buy a new head because ford won't acknowledge this widespread problem.  view

I received a letter from daewoo motor america detailing corrective action on the cam shaft position sensor in my leganza. i provided them with the required letter affirming that i am the owner of the vehicle, a copy of the receipt showing that the replacement had already been done prior to the letter , and the address to which my refund should be sent. that was last november 2004. i have yet to see my refund, and it is march 23.2005. who do i contact to follow this through? there is no number in the letter for follow-up procedures. i believe they've had plenty of time to respond.  view

I bought my super duty f-250 in early march of 2000 and my gem module is failing . i cannot use my door unlock buttons. my driver window fails to go down all the way, and my key fob doesn't work the locks. my complaint is that ford had a recall on this same module up to the year 1999 my truck was ordered from the factory in late december 1999 or early 2000 and is having the same problems that the trucks up to 1999 are having, but because it's a 2000 ford will not cover it.  view

The abs brakes do not work due to the brackets missing. also, sensor does not work. however, without the bracket vehicle can not be fixed. the consumer stated that the part was recall and it took the delearship two to three months to get the part.  view

2004 ,volvo xc90 t6 awd - vehicle was parked in driveway. upon returning to vehicle, remote unlock was hit twice to open all doors, and vehicle began to roll down driveway. this occurred two times. vehicle has been at volvo garage for two weeks. at this point not aware of what repairs may have been made. it appears the transmission locking mechanism was disengaged with the remote unlock.  view

Having driven 120 miles, i was 4 miles from home; turning a corner, the motor shut down and started missing. it was missing so bad that i thought if i let off the gas pedal, the motor would shut down. my truck was loaded with tools so i proceeded to go on the next 4 miles and risk it and not lose my tools. earlier as i was in a passing lane, i felt the motor shudder as if a spark plug was fouling or i had bad gas or a bad plug wire. if i was passing in a serious passing situation earlier in the day, and this motor shut down as it did, i wouldn't be writing this e-mail. this truck is equipped with a dodge hemi and is expected to pass with ease. this is a serious safety problem. i was told there are 115 people in line for this par,t and if i paid an extra $80 i would be bumped to #6 because they classified me as vehicle off road. i'm told by the dealer that number is growing. the part has yet to be received by the service dealer, and i am completely without transportation.  view
